It is usually most effective to meet and discuss things face-to-face. But where travel costs and times make this difficult, the Internet allows us to share files easily, and work together wherever in the world we happen to be physically located.
The modern enterprise depends on networking – few can afford to employ all the world-class experts they might need. Networking with world-class experts helps you set up world-class projects and systems and design world-class products, systems and installations.
No longer do you have to restrict yourself to what is available locally – the Internet, modern communications, and PCs allow you to use the best there is, and only when you need them.
We have viewers for AutoCad and Gerber (and can get others) so we can read your engineering drawings and PCB layouts. Where viewers or readers aren’t available, information can usually be sent as JPEG, GIF, TIFF or PDF. And of course we have Microsoft Office so we can share text, graphics, spreadsheets, etc.
Being based in the UK we are fully up to date with the latest activities in European Union (EU) Directives, and we have excellent working relationships with a great many world-class test laboratories, EMC Competent Bodies, and Safety Notified Bodies.
We speak plain English engineering language.
Our aim has always been to transfer our knowledge and experience to your own personnel, to get them up their learning curve quickly with the lowest costs, so they don’t repeat the costly mistakes that so many people have already made.
We recognise that design consultants like ourselves are not inexpensive to employ, so we aim to minimise what you spend on us. This means we are always trying to make ourselves redundant, so you need us less and less as your personnel’s expertise increases.
Companies often come to us after wrestling with an interference or safety problem for many months, even years, and we can usually help them fix it with low manufacturing costs within a few days or a couple of weeks.
It costs much less overall to employ our training or design expertise at the start to help prevent problems from arising at all, or to fix them as soon as they appear
